Tom has over 25 years’ experience working in the public, voluntary, and private sectors and was at the forefront of the Neighbourhood Planning movement. He has secured planning consent for a number of ‘impossible’ new dwellings within National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONBs). Tom is also experienced in renewable energy projects including large scale solar, small scale hydro, battery and heat pump projects. He has practical experience of heritage and restoration projects, biomass heating and small-scale forestry.
